How do you get a fishing trip?
    Call Capt. Howard Day for rates at 1-252-726-5749 or 1-252-726-1876.  I do not do email information. I  beleive in voice contact. I may be fishing so leave a message on the machine. I do try my best to return all my calls as timely as possible. Once we decide what day that you would like to fish, a deposit is required. The deposit is generally $100.00, unless otherwise stated in our phone conversation. From the time we talk on the phone for a period of one week, I temporary hold the given day for you. uppon arival of your Check or money order , I will call you to phone confirm the arrival of the deposit, and the locking of that date in your name. Sorry I do not accept credit cards. The final balance is due in cash at the end of the fishing trip. If, at the end of the  first week of temorrary holding of that day the Check or money order does not arrive, that date goes back to a "first come first serve".

     The Captain Calls the weather NOT  the weather channel, NOT "I can feel it in my knees the weather is gonna be bad".  I know my boat. Depending on what we are after Almost half of the species that we fish for can be fished for in sheltered waters. No I will not fish  in a Hurricane. Remeber my goal is to show you a good comfortable time so that you will return and fish with me again. And on some days I do call due to weather. In the case that I call the trip due to weather, First I try to find a date that we can transfer the trip and try again. If we can not transfer the deposit to another day A full refund will be given for the anount of the deposit.

Your Cancilation procedure
   You can cancil and recieve a full refund up till two weeks before the scheduled trip.  If  you cancil and I still have a full week to reschedule a replacement trip for the day that you initially reserved, we can reschedule the your trip or you can recieve half of your deposit. Once there is a week or less, there will be no refund and the depoit is therefore forfitted, If cancilation occurs on your part.
